Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave – Released in 2002, it introduces a new bunch of enemies to defeat, possibility to move your wave vertically as well, and you can handle multiple weapons at once.There’s no more endless war, as you have a final boss and an overarching story you can reach the end of. Chicken Invaders: Revenge of the Yolk– With a Star Wars-inspired title, this 2006 game was poised to be a hit, especially as it was meant to be the end of the trilogy and the final installment.Most notably, this game introduced a 4-player co-op mode of playing, so more friends can have fun with it together! Chicken Invaders: Ultimate Omelette – This 2010 game allowed players to rotate their ships into any direction they want, ship upgrades that you can dock onto it, a bigger and more developed plot, as well as tons of fun unlockable content.Chicken Invaders: Cluck of the Dark Side – This is the fifth and final (so far) entry in the series, which came about in 2014, and one of the best new things it introduced was the ability for players to customize and paint their ships, so everyone could be unique while fighting alien chickens.We know that shooting chickens is not something you’re keen on doing in real life, but it’s fun to do it playing online shoot’em up games, even more so since they are aliens who want to take over our world.This is the only weapon you get in this game. It fires yellow bullets (red in The Next Wave Online). Unlike other versions of the weapon, this one doesn't have many projectiles (the final Power Level only has 3 per volley), and it can't be upgraded beyond that Power Level. It also uses the Neutron Gun sound effect when fired in Revenge of the Yolk Online. It's a good all-purpose weapon with a very fast fire rate. It will make it more difficult to concentrate your firepower on enemies or bosses, however.
Damage falls off on bosses, unless you get really close.This weapon has, unlike other weapons, only 9 power levels.
